Ok, since most of the posts here seem to be way too serious &.. well, lets face it, somewhat angry, lets start something a bit more playful. What if...?
Wouldn't it be cool if we could breed our pets? Get a Cowardly Gurreck & a regular Gurreck in a dimly lit room with candles, abit of aroma therapy stuff, some light music & let them get their freak on. Then a few weeks later we'd get like.. a Slightly Nervous Gurreck. Wouldn't that be cool? They would have to be the same breed of animal but get aGreater Sludge Panther & a Crimson Razor Cat in the same room & a few weeks later get a Red Dirty-Edge Puma... something like that. Man, that would be sweet. Of course then we'd get the Bio-Eng's knickers tied into more of a knot because we could do what they can do.
Also, if vehicles can get weapon mounts, wouldn't it stand to reason that the bigger mounts we could tame... the bigger Bantha's, the bigger DewBacks... couldn't they get weapon mounts too? Just a light laser mounted to a modified saddle horn? I'm not talking laser out of the eyes or anything like that but just "Frickin' lasers attached to their heads".
Does anyone else have a good ... well, maybe not so good idea for anything else?

Harvesters and houses had some way of showing who made them or retaining their "brand name"? I'm not sure how it would be done with houses but with harvesters it wouldn't be very hard to make it where you can see the architect that made the structure when you examine it.
Weaponsmiths, armorsmiths, chefs, etc. can put their brand names on their items and while in use you can even see the brand. This seems to be a useless addition but I believe it'd be really cool and beneficial. It could be another form of advertisment and if nothing else a little bit of pride to see what you made in use. When I was a WS I loved to see people using my weapons and even more so to come across someone who was showing off a weapon I made, I think that'd be pretty cool with architect made things too.
Anyway, just a thought ^_^
