Ok got a factory set up with power and mainance and a schematic in my datapad.... even put the ingredients in the ingredients hopper but i dont have a option to put the shcematics in the factory or to turn it on etc.... how is this done??

There should be an option to select a schematic. When you select this, you will have a menu where you can select the schematics from your datapad.

Select the schematic that you want to produce.

Then once your ingredients are in the input hopper you can start manufacturing.

Just in case this isn't how you did it. You need to create your own schematic. Schematics that are supplied as part of your profession do not work.

To create the manufacturing schematic, select 'Create Manufacturing Schematic' instead of 'Create Prototype Item' after you have crafted it.

Im sure all of you already know this, but there may be a few who are unaware of this.

I dont get a operate machinery button at all for some reason to select the schematic i get pay maintance, status, destroy, add power, etc... but no operate machinery button or way to add the schematic where would that be located at?

Sounds to me like somebody sold you a harvester and told you that it was a factory.

I think it is the management option. I don't really remember the name of the menu. But the options will be. Input Hopper, Output Hopper, Start Manufacturing, Select Schematic and some other ones.

hmmm... hehe nope... when i set it up first thing it read was "Equipment Factory" and is alot larger then a harvester. Has 2 hoppers one for inputingreidents and a output.... problem is i have no add shcematic button.

Now i look at it..... i dont have anyway to turn it on even

ahh... plus my generic waypoint that auto creates when you place says "Equipment Factory"

Do you get crafting xp for using a factory? jst curious

Are you sure the schematic you want to use is made for that type of factory. For example you cannot make synthetic cloth in an equipment factory.

hmm would it not still atleast give me a option to add a schematic though? I mean i have a few schematics in my datapad???

Try getting the seller to place the factory for you and see what it comes up.

It will not give you the option to add a schematic if you don't have any of the proper type of schematics in your datapad.

Equipment factory is only good for stuff make with the weapon, droid, and general item crafting tool.
