Sigh, i'm really mad about the way people are taking this architect thing.. Dev's made it a real problem when they made guild halls.. now every pa wana be crafting boon.. are making houses and selling them for 10k even 8k the way i see it pretty soon everyone is going to have a house considering 8k only takes like maybe 1 and a half 2 hours for a combat profession to make. granted i am a architect to make a pa hall for my pa but i am planing to stay an architect after the pa hall for my pa is done. i like the profession but i don't see much coming out of it in 3 months. grr.. i need a hug =/ 20k - 30k a house is a good price. not selling it for the price of armor

i think if the market becomes saturated, it'll be a slow progression and there won't really be much to worry about for awhile

those who have small houses now, will want medium ones later, then large ones

all the newbs out there don't even know how to run delivery missions and always complain about being broke. they won't be buying their first small house for awhile

every crafter is gonna wanna buy better harvestors as they come out

furniture will always be popular

The way I see it, is that if I can not make 5 credits per resoutce then it is defently not worth bening a crafter of any type expecialy not a architect. It takes about 1 hour to get 1000 resources that would be 5000 credits. In 1 hour I can make 10k just doing delivery missions, and in 1 hour as a combatiant I can make 20k doing kill missions. so if your tired of being on the short end of the economy then pick up a blaster, by the time there is a architect that can sell you a PA hall you will be able to afford 5 of them.

It makes me sick seeing all the people sell for much less than there time is worth in terms of any charactors time should be of equal worth to any others, of corse architects are not the only one feeling the lopsidedness of the echonmy right now, BUT we are the only ones that are doing it to ourselves!

Fortunatly I still have enoughf business selling at 20k for smalls, 100k for mediums, and 200k for large, even tho there are dorks on my server selling for 10k and less. The reason is that I am nice and helpful to the customer, I don't drop a deed on someone and take off never to be heard from again, customer service is a big selling point! The other reason is that I have what the customers wants right now, no waiting, if they want one at 10k they are probly going ot have to get in line cuz the idots that are selling them at that rate have no way to keep up with demand for them at that rate, you would think they would soon relize that the demand warents a higher price.

Sence I do have spare time I have taken up weaponcrafting it is nice sence I'm not swamped with orders for small houses at the moment (I was very swamped 3rd-6th day of game, and yes I was an architect on the 3rd day), and that has proved to be much more profitable than making houses. Seems like it should be the other way around huh? Well maybe in a week or 2 went the compataints get a handle on how to play and actualy start making that 20k an hour like most of use experneced beta folks know they can, and they have hundreds of thousands of credits to thorw, and when architect see that set of armor are selling like hotcakes at 40 and take about 1/5 the resources as there houses they will clue in and start asking for an equal share of the economy. After all some is only going to by a small house once, they will buy several sets of armor or weapons over the life of there charactor.

The above points are what you need to point out to all the novice architect you see out there killing the houseing market right now, after all there will be a point that architects willl be put out of business by real estate brokers (and that requires no in game skills, only that you pay 14.95 a month) that will use there lots to hold good locations and them sell the loation, not the house to the customer! Heck if I was unscrupulos I would buy 5 of those 10k houses, would only tkae me 5 hours of game time to get the cash from deliver mission, plop them down on prime land, and pay the taxes for little over a month, at the end of the moneth those lots will be worth 10-100 times that you invested!

No it isn't. I thought it would be a fun profession....WRONG! It was the first day. Don't get me wrong I love it. I just can't compete with other player's that have multiple accounts to provide themselves with more resources than someone who only has 10 lots. I can't get enough resources to do half thier business. Secondly with them lowering prices due to having an abundance of resources...just is a killer. Just my thoughts.

each passing day it becomes less attractive...

but if i switched to something else i would be competing with the PA armor makes or weapon smiths...

Everything the devs have done has only screwed the little guy and small PAs

There's master architects already because of exploits. If you can make 55K xp a day you're doing really good. I can probably make it in 2 days max.
