I am having the hardest time selling houses so I was wondering if you guys would be willing to give me some tips and tricks. Thanks!

Well, remember two important facts:

1) Houses are expensive. Not everyone wants to dish out 15k or whatever you're charging on one currently

2) They are luxury items. They are not necessary for anyone but merchants (for vendors) and merchants are not terribly common right now.

You're not going to sell a ton of houses at this point in the game. Business will pick up over time as more people get more money.
