Thread: Resource Shift coming How much for Carbonate Ore?
How much would you pay for Carbonate Ore today? For 50,000 units of Carbonate ore? I'm thinking that the resource shift will hit today or tomorrow. According to my calculations it should hit before 12 noon today but I could be off. Time will tell.
Anyway, I have 50,000 units of Carbonate Ore. Is there a guild that wants to offer a price I cannot refuse? If so send me an email when the game comes back up.
I have collected the ore for my new home, a PA hall. I have all of the ingrediants according to the schematics but I received an offer last night that piqued my interest.
If you have an interest in purchasing a block of 50,000 carbonate oresend me an email. During the resource shift your projects will continue... your Architect can finish his last couple of blocks and become Master... you will not have to worry about Crit Failures as much because you will have ore in reserve.
Branix - Intrepid - Naboo
ditto on carbon ore id feel guilty for wasting it.
As to the resource shift .. i feel as though your trying to implicate that carbon ore will become rare?
plenty of places with carbon ore are left yet and new ones will shift in
*offers 3 per*
No sorry, i'm not trying to imply that carbonate is rare. I've been selling it for 5x for the last week because Naboo doesn't have it... but it's not all that rare.
I plan on making a PA out of this ore because I have it. If someone offers me something interesting I'll sell it to them.
But Carbonate is not rare. It's just not on Naboo right now. I bet we get it with the next resource shift and all someone has to do is mine as much as they need. Or, if they want to do something different they can buy more ore. Or not.
Thanks for the 3x bid but i'll keep looking.
just realised your on intrepid,
Naboo still has carbon ore on eclipse .. were probably 10 hrs behind with the downtime weve had lol
thanks for the heads up!
good luck on the 5 per, in all honesty you will probably get it.
and good luck with the Pa hall.
First, resource shifts are different for different resources. Each one has it's own timer. After a few months nothing will be in synch anymore. They only seem to be happening at the same time because the first set all started at the same time (launch).
Second, carbonate ore is the one most likely to be abundant of all the ores as far as probability of spawn calculations go. Take this excerpt as proof:
There will always be at least 1 type of Extrusive Igneous ore, with each type existing on at least 1 of the 10 planets. (you could have up to 10 types, with up to 3 planets per type)
There will always be at least 1 type of Intrusive Igneous ore, with each type existing on at least 1 of the 10 planets. (you could have up to 10 types, with up to 3 planets per type)
There will always be at least 1 type of Carbonate Sedimentary ore, with each type existing on at least 8 of the 10 planets. (you could have up to 10 types)
There will always be at least 1 type of Siliclastic Sedimentary ore, with each type existing on at least 8 of the 10 planets. (you could have up to 8 types)
Anyway there you have it.
ORE shifts, then comes back.
i dont think it will ever be so rare that pricing will skyrocket, its one of the most basic things of housing
The second week after release, Rori on Tarquinas had not carbonate ore for the full week. There was also a 1 day period where we had no carb ore.
On the other hand, since after the 1st week of release, we have had anywhere from 1 to 4 types of intrusive and extrusive (each) ores on our planet..
Sounds like the Devs got it backwards..
oop.. and in response to the thread, if you were on Tarquinas, I would give you 150k for the lump sum of all your ore. I may even pay a little more, up to 200k just because I have 3 PA halls on order ATM, and need the ore. I dont see carb ore as rare as there was only a week where I wasnt getting it as my primary ore, and there is currently 3 kinds on Rori (Tarq) and I have traced 2 to 60%+ levels. It seems to have a much better toughness than siliclastic and I like using it for building as I get 14-27% successes and fewer (seeming) crit fails. I burned up 38k carbonate ore last night, and 14k the night before..
