Okay, maybe this is a very silly question, but how do you place items on walls? How are these items stacked on top of one another? How do people get things on tables? How do you build fishtanks? Oh, and Where in the world do you get fish? I've seen people with all of these things in their homes, or screenshots of them, so I think I'm missing something really basic. Please someone explain this to me?

Thank you

Artisans can make fishing poles. Scouts can find bait by foraging (you can also get bait from caught fish by fileting them). Both poles and bait can be found for sale on the bazaar. Then you put the bait in the pole in your inventory, go to some water, equip the pole, and then choose Start Fishing. Wait until you see the message "Bite?" and choose "Tug Up" on the pole. When it says "Caught Something?", choose "Small Reel-In". Using this method, I typically catch a fish every 4th or 5th try.

Oh yes, caught fish can also be found on the bazaar too (usually pretty inexpensively).

To place items on walls or tables, drop an item on the stairs. I'm not sure why the previous poster has problems losing items on the stairs, as this has never happened to me. Then move the item from the stairs to the wall or table. It's easiest if you target the item and use on of the following line commands:

/move forward # (where # = 1 to 50)

/movebackward # (where # = 1 to 50)

/rotate right# (where # = 1 to 180)

/rotateleft# (where # = 1 to 180)

Of course, this method will only work in houses that have stairs (medium houses except Corellian, large houses, and PA Halls).

Oh, forgot to talk about fish tanks. Fish tanks, fireplaces, and other items are being constructed by Architects using various furniture components. That is, by placing chests, tables, toolchests, wood staffs and other items using the drop on stairs method described above.

Do a search on the Architect forum for fish tank or fireplace, and you'll see detailed instructions on how to make them.
