Thread: Please spread FYI to others. Paying Maintenance...
Its probably a combination of that and the fact that maintenance is not depleting properly sometimes depleting much faster than it is supposed to.... either way all the csr sees is that maintenance depletion was the reason the hosue vanished.
I have noticed this for awhile now. With a total of 16 harvs, I notice a difference. I can have them all exactly the same and the next day, some will be right on as to what they should have used and some will still have LOTS left over. This was back when I was using smalls and I would make all the ones I needed for that shift at the same time with same materials. It happens with heavies too but, there is a difference in materials.
Not sure why some are differernt.
does it seem to have something to do with the % that is getting mined?
Personally, I never thought to check that. I had 2 smalls once that would use about half of what it should and they were right beside 10 more that used normal amount. Was really wierd.
I'm in the same boat as Tempest with a fleet of identical large harvesters that use maintenance at different rates. Tested it time and time again. My theory relates to different "active" times - namely I'm wondering if different parts of planets are stored on different servers in some way. Therefore if part of a map is "down" or not active, the maintenance drain stops while the other harvesters not stored on that section/server keep hammering away. Likewise, structures on some parts of the map seem to take a heck of a lot longer to "zone in" after a server re-boot than others - up to 20 minutes occasionally. I'm sure this might go some way to explaining the differences we keep seeing.
