Hi Im in a PA of 30 people and am aware we will not be able to have a shuttle port vecause you need to be a city of size level 4. That to me would be a city of maybe 75 Houses. So like everybody else the first thing I tried to figure out was how to get around that problem.

The answer was rather simple.

PA on server A makes contract with PA on server B both of which have master architects. Both PA's are 25+ in member numbers.

They then trade lots across servers.

Server A guild makes 35 characters on server B and is handed 35 houses buy that PA's MAster architect who shows them where to place them.

The reverse is then done for the other server.

Worst case scenario.

A master Architect who happens to have enough cash could build 100 house city on his own which is basicaly a ghost town because no one lives there but its possible.

This will effect SOE's bottom line because the server space for storing houses no one lives in just so they can have a shuttle port pluss the characters that had to be made to secure the lots spaces all has to be stored.

How to fix this exploit.

Dont make city buildings like shuttle ports based on city size. Simply make them so expenssive to make and maintain that you seriously have to have people living in the city and paying taxes to be able to afford the cost.

Yes that means a small PA like mine may not be able to havesome city buildingsbut I would rather go out and try and get new people to move into our city than to start making plans with PA's from other servers to swap lots.

Hehe consider yourselves notified of this exploit well before cities went onto live servers. ( Take that jokingly )

From my understanding, which is probably wrong 8o), I believe city size is determined by number of declaired residencies, not number of buildings, with only 1 residence (owner) per building allowed.

So in the instance of "player swaping" it could work, but one architect throwing up several buildings would not have an effect unless each building had a distinct owner who declaired residence in that building.

They may also taking into account the number of declaired residences that actually particapate in the weekly vote as determining the size of the city. (which would force the player swapping scenario to have all players log into swapped accounts to vote.)

Again, though, seemsevery time I open my mouth, I always seem to come out on the wrong side of the answer! LOL
