I'm finally thinking about buying a large house, and I have a few questions that if possible I'd like answered .

1) Planning on placing the house in the 'boonies' on Tat (Kettemoor). Can I do this? I mean, can I place my house In the middle of no-where? I'm thinking the mountainous area by Jabbas retreat. Neighbors=Bad. Hermits Rock!!

2) I notice that we are alloted 10 slots for our house. Or something like that. I don't really understand this. Does this mean that a Large house takes up more slots then a small one? What fills up a slot? Gardens?

3) What is the maint costs on a Large Tattoine / Large Generic house?

4) When the house is created, how does carpeting work? I've seen some houses w/o it, and some with. Clueless on this one.

5) Does a Architect have to go with me to place the house? Or can I do this by myself? For that matter, is there a reason to have an Architect come with me when I place it?

I'm sure theres other questions too, but off-hand I can't think of any.

If you are a Architect on Kettemoor please contact me with your price if possible (in game, or mail)

Thanks for your time,

1.You can place a house anywhere except for in non-player cities. You are looking to place in the boonies so you are ok. You do need to have a nice level lot though.(these restrictions have been eased up on to allow for player cities)

2.I believe large houses take up 6 slots(I may be wrong on this-Bad Master Arch)

3.Not sure on the maint.(Again, bad Master Arch)

4.You house either has it or doesn't. It al ldepends on the type and style.

5.An architect crafts the deed and sells it to you. You are the on eresponsible for placing it.

Each character has 10 "lots" to use to place structures - that's all you get - ever. A structure is a house, factory, harvester, etc.

The lot usage, item storage, and maintance per day (from memory) is:

small house (round naboo) - 1 lot, 75 items, 216 credits
small house (all others) - 2 lots, 150 items, 384 credits
medium house - 2 lots, 150 items, 8xx credits
large house - 6 lots, 250 items, 12xx credits?

When you click to place your house you'll get an overhead view. If the lot turns green you can build there if it is yellow or red you cant. you can rotate your house to place the entrance in the drection you want by right clicking. Use the left click to place the house. use esc button to not place the house.

You can place your home virtually anywhere in the game so long as it is not in a player city or NPC city nor on a no-build planet (Endor, Dathomir).

The large homes are rip offs for several reasons. To start you get 10 lots for either homes (storage), harvestors and factories. Small and medium homes take up 2 lots. They both also have an item limit of 150. So two backpacks filled up is already 100 items in your home. You can put 50 more things in it. The small home is cheaper to maintain then the medium. The large home now takes up 6 lots and costs alot more for maintenance. With those 6 lots gone and the high maintenance you can only store up to 200 items in it. So the smart thing to do is get 3 small homes which equals 450 item space, 6 lots, and 15k a month for maintenace each. 15k is actually a lil over a month. A large home costs about 60k a month.

Really, the medium homes are the biggest rip offs in the game but the larges aren't much better. And it is a shame too for the medium Tatooine and Naboo have always been my favorite.

And you can place the home yourself.
