Hi All,

What's the Max BER that can be experimented to on a Light Ore Mining Unit, is it 4 ? (around 80%) or will it go higher with better resources?

Also, What's the same on the Ore Mining Unit (haven't made any yet, but i guess it's the same process)?

Oh and one last one, Does Ore only ever appear in sub 80% concentrations - i've never seen more than that????

Cheers

4 on LOMUs you better get atleast 89% for BER10s harvs

Many Thanks Knome

And for once I'm grinding it cause i want the profession (haven't even seen a holo with this char!!!)

Got 1-4-2-0 and have already stared upgrading my BER 4personalls to Mediums (okay they are only BER 9 atm - due to resources not being best, what makes a BER4 personal don't cut the mustard for medium lol... )

hmmm...
Anybody wanna buy 20 BER 4 personal minerals ?? lol. with power and maint!!! ahh wrong forum for it lol.. never mind!

You didn't actually redeed those harvestors did you?? It should only cost you around 500 credits (or less if you mined your own resources for 'em)to make one, and the redeed cost is 1500! Let em burn down or delete them when done!

just make sure you experiment as high as you can. If you get the light ore mining unit to 4 and still have experimentation points, use them to make it even a higher %. This will help you greatly on final combine. Do this with all the extraction subcomponents for the harvesters.

I cannot stress enough how important this is. The percentage on your lomu will affect the final BER achieveble on your medium harvester, you may think it is not worth the risk experimenting up only to get a crit, but the work done at this stage will pay off as any number of crits on experimenting for those final few % points will be more than offset by the greater likelihood of success in reaching 10 BER on the harvester itself. The same rules apply when you start making Heavies.

Oh, and why not consider making a factory run of those 97% lomu's you are going to turn out now, it will be worth it, believe me.
