Personally I dont want to spend more points on another profession when I already have the best of both worlds in my profession.

Splitting it would be great, the Interior Designer class could also have skills such as painting interior house walls, carpetting and suchlike, the possibilities are endless. Architect could then be retained for actual architectural work rather than the current mishmash.

I've not build a house or harvester in 5 months (other than for friends or personal use) and focus entirely on furniture. It IS a killer having all those skill points tied up in the other three lines of architecture only to keep the master furnishings, but at least Master Architect is worth having!

I sell both at a decent clip. I behemently oppose splitting the profession and having to spend extra skill points to keep my business. Ofcourse I could be in the minority, but......

This is a tough sublect for me. I can easly lean eather way. For one most of my busness/fun comes from intrior design. On the other hand most of my money comes from harvs. So id be keeping master architect and defently getting the interior desing and that would cost what? 63 more points I think. Also what whould fill the 1st branch of the architect tree if this where to happen?
Personaly, Im for this with a little hesatation. Id like them to remain one but i like the posabilitys the split could unlock better. Dvnce make shure this makes it to the devs please.

To fill the first branch in architectthey could ,perhaps open more room for extra outdoor items, we could have a skill tree for outdoor statutes, benches improved waterfalls etc.a with perhaps colour enhancment of the some of these items.
And a seperate tree for interior design home statues plants etc.
I guess one of the reasons for starting this thread was ,I was wondering if this was why the furnishing is being held back for improvments. Lack of room to include more?
I also find it hard to understand why the two skills are togther, after all if i employed a builder to sort a wall,I would not expect him to be able to advise me on which sofa looks best
Hope im not putting the cat amongst the pigeons with this,
Just a few thoughts I have had going around my head for a wee while.

I have been Master Architect for a while nowa And like most in this forum desperetly want to see more choice for furnishings etc. But in addition to that i would like to see the architect class split, I would like to drop harvestors and possibly buildings ,to concentrate on the furniture side ,but there is not enough to do ,also by dropping master architect i lose the abilty to make that furniture.
On the other hand if we have a seperate proffesion for furnishings think of how expansive this could be .
A class just for furnishing, furnishing improvment, rugs, paintings it could cover the whole spectrum of interior design.
What are your thoughts on this?
