Im surprised nobody from beta mentioned this yet here (did search here in forum didnt find mention)

In Beta, the YT-1300 was once fully furnished with unique furniture. This furniture was static and could not be moved, so beta testers complained we would like to furnish our way instead of every ship having the same furniture placement. So the devs took out the furniture, but did not make them craftable.

Dvnce, can you ask the devs about this? I would really like to decorate my ships using those high chairs and sofas. Im getting tired of looking at the old furniture we have now. The art assets are already there, im sure it would take minimal programming to make them craftable.

IMHO since they went through th trouble to make the models, they shold be implemented in the games somehow. Either by selecting a predecorated option for the ships or letting us craft them...

The problem may be that they want them to be space only items and they don't have a good way to impliment that. We will be able to drop the items anywhere we can drop items.

Make them look like a crate when you drop them in the ground game, but like the furniture when dropped on a shiip.

also in beta, all ships (exept the yacht and the YT) had loot containers, i feel it would be good if these were craftable as the yt needs one really.
