When i /examine 'd a painting the other day i noticed it had an object creator slot, which was filled. I check thru the entire Architect skill box listing and couldnt find anything about the schematic for a painting. Can we craft them or not?

The schematics are obtained once per month at the Bestine Museum, from the curator.

Is it a quest type thing? Like theed lib, answer quesitons for reward?

You participate in choosing which artist gets picked, but you basically just buy the schematic from the curator once a month. 48k each for a 2-use schematic.

There is an optional quest to vote on what the next painting will be.
The schematic itself can be purchased outright.
You only get two uses out of it so it's a good idea to make factory runs.

Fair wad for a painting eh, about the worth of a Medium house on infinity, ill just get my guildies to get them for me

No quest ot it. Just buy the current schematic from the curator . He charges 48k each. Each one will allow 2 uses so you can make 2 shematics of your own from each one.If you have enough materials to build them you could make up to 1000 paintings from each of your created schematics. The curator will sellthem to anyone but he warns you must have arch furniture skill lvl 3 to use it.

Well, you get two uses from the schematic, which means you can make 2 factory runs of the painting...
First painting costs 48k... the next 1998 are cheap

Also the painting schematics are available for purchase anytime you go by the Bestine art museum , but they only sell one design for each month so it is wise to go buy one each month. I pick up at least 2 every month so Ill always be able to make the copies long after they arnt availble.

I am a new architect and would like to know where I can get the schematics for the various paintings? I would greatly appreciate any help

You can check General Guides boards for Paintings topics. Currently there is a full guide there.
Oh and you are in Tempest, lucky you. Infinity, Ahazi and Chimera forgot about paintings.

The Bestine museum painting schematics are purchased from the curator in the Bestine museum painting. However you can only buy the current schematic. FOr the previous schematics the only way to obtain them now is to buy them from other people who bought extras.
