It's used to grow things in, like wood or berries or corn. It's kind of like a farm that grows flora.

I'm trying to set up Flora Farms. I've tried using both Gas and PetroChem power, but when I try to add power to the harvester, I show as having no power sources on me. I'm storing it in my main inventory. Is there some special power that Flora Farms need, am I doing something wrong, or is it just a ghost in the machine? I've successfully set them up before <shrug>
Thanks

There are only 3 kinds of power that you can use to fuel extractors.
- Solar
- Wind
- Radioactive
Nothing else will work.

Get hold of a fusion reactor of BER 14. you really only need one. Survey for radioactive (don't sample it hurts!)

It's not a matter of "figures," I think you're confused.
Solar, Wind, and Radioactive are the power-generating resources in the game. There are no others.
Gas and petrochemical are resources in the game, same as wheat and steel. You may have well asked, "why are my harvesters not running when I try to power them with wheat?"
I use reactive gas and fiberplast chemicals to make medical buffs. They are ingredients in crafting.
