Our structure factories do not put deeds in crates.

Also Ore mining units have never crated which is something we'd really like fixed.

What he means is that once you load a schem + ingredients and activate the factory, it returns an error message via email about not able to create factory crate.
I can verify his claim, had it happen 3 times while trying to get a furniture order started. Quite frustrating

If it is the error message that is the original posters point then yes, it is a bug, I find it happens to me occasionally, only seems to be when I try to run a batch of sssms, around the 6-700 mark it cannot create the crate to start a new crate of 10 and errors. You also lose the resources for that 1 item at this point. The only solution is to empty out (all or some of) the output hopper and start the factory again, there seems to be some bug that is 'miscounting' how many items you have in the hopper.

Ah yes if thats it then it would be the FAQ entry below. However they changed the error message you get in the email from the old system error 7 one to something about not being able to make a crate. If I can get the error wording I'll update the FAQ.

Here's the existing FAQ entry:

Q-4.1: My factory is giving me an ""@system_msg:manf_error_7" message and is not finishing the schematic run. What do I do?

Unfortunately this is a known bug. Mostly it seems to happen when the output and/or input hoppers are mostly full. If it occurs you can usually get past it by removing items from the factory's output hopper. Some people have reported that redeeding the factory helps. Some people believe that experimenting on the factory's storage rating during creation of the factory deed helps avoid this.

Ah, I'd see that entry in the FAQ but hadn't matched it up with any of my experiences. Its only happened to me 4 times in all the crafting I've been doing and 3 of them were yesterday, along with the constant runtime errors.
Went back this morning and the factory started fine, I didnt remove/add anything. *shrug* I guess server restart does fix things
Also if I can get the verbatium text of the error message I'll post here or PM you with the info. It would be a great thing to add to the FAQ.

Thanks.

I will try and catch it myself. I think I could force one with my factories fairly easy if I tried.

I had seen the text in the mail change and meant to capture the new text but I reflexivly delete those mails nowadays when I get them since I'm a little too used to them at this point.
