Is anyone else mining the Fermionic ore from JTL? I have 18 harvesters down on a 94% spot on Yavin on Valcyn. It has been running for 2 weeks now. I have harvested about 3.5 million units. With what I get regularly from contract miners, I will be set for ore for a long, long time. Still, I am curious if the lack of a concentration cap, and the insane spawn time was intended by SOE, or if it's just a bug. If it's intended, then future spawns of this ore will completely reshape the architect industry.

Some of the new resources have already made for huge changes. The Borcarbitic copper on Valcyn spawned with a 985 Shock Resistance. Prior to this, the previous cap for non-ferrous was Phrik Aluminum at 900 SR. I have already been able to make 99% vehicles, and a friend made a 99% power hammer.

While in beta, there was a Hardened Steel spawn that was 900+ for conductivity and OQ. Anyone who knows anything about Weaponsmith knows how game changing that resource would be.

I guess my question would be, have any of these resources made for massive changes in crafting like they have for myself and a few of my friends?

The JTL resources that have higher stats than what was previous available will certainly have an impact on the quality of goods that can be crafted.

For the higher concentration %'s of ore, as far as I know that only impacts the JTL resources. Aren't those supposed to be "rare" as in they aren't going to spawn quite as often as common resources? It will certainly help to get ore at 80-100% levels but I don't know if its going to happen enough to make a huge difference.

I'm currently harvesting Maranium Extrusive Ore, for almost 2 weeks now. The % I found was only 65%, but for Ore, thats the top, so I'm not complaining. Is that a JTL resource, or what?

Location is on Rori, on the Intrepid server.

Now I jinxed myself, and when I log on tonight, it will be all gone.

ore caps at 70%,,, the new one has no cap.. its like any other resource,, i think they have the 99% cap,.. i have found every other resource at 99% cept ore which is 70%

Maranium extrusive is not a JTL resource.

Wll that spawn expired somehwere between Friday at noon and Saturday evening. Lasted longer than usual.

I saw a hardened steel spawn the other evening, and had never seen one before.

As for ore, this is an interesting idea....I'm all on it!
