i posted this on the PA boards, and our correspondent told that i should drop it here as well, food for thougth

"i think that the devs should make the rooftop from the guild halls useful... at present its just a really big empty spot...

for example, in my guild we rp the alliance, it would be cool if we could place some crates and stuff on the roof.. make it look like its a landing bay, something like that... instead of the useless hole it is...

thats my 2 cents..."

I strongly agree with this sentiment.

The one thing it suggests to me is: why not allow members of the guild associated with the hall and admins actually land on the roof of the guildhall!!

I think the trouble with putting things on the roof is due to a general ban on dropping items in outside spaces. One suggestion I have heard is to reclassify rooftops and porches as indoor spaces with invisible walls. This may be a problem with selection of what items get drawn. Perhaps you wouldn't be able to see someone walking by your house or possibly your entire city will be invisible when you're relaxing on your porch.

If I had to guess this one goes in the "more of a pain than it's worth" bin, but it'll be these sorts of changes that keep players interested in the game.
