I just started an Architect Merchant Tent. Just Architect stuff, no resources really. Wondering what items sell the best and what items are no worth stockingso I'm not wasting time/credits. Having a well stocked furniture vendor was my main goal after searching high and low for things I wanted and couldn't find.
Do people buy anything less than Heavy Harvesters, anddo people buy them if they are less than BER 13 ?
Which houses sell most often, and what city structures are good to keep in stock ?
Many questions ........... any input based on experience would be very helpful and much appreciated.

depends on the server
I have sold many med houses, a few large, a few city halls and city structure, a few guild halls
I also have sold many non-ber13 not heavy harvies

For harvesters the BER13 heavies and the BER 10 mediums sell best. Lower BER ratings sell poorly in comparison and I have to discount them pretty heavy.

Some of the lower level furniture doesn't sell very well (Cheap Cafe Table, Kitchen Chair, Small Table, Toolchest). Oh yeah, I've had almost no requests for ballot boxes.
I've had a few requests for personal harvesters, wind generators and solars, but considering the effort involved and that you usually can find them very cheaply on the bazaar, it's not worth the effort.
City gardens do not sell well at all. Shuttleports also don't sell very well. Most city structures sell very slowly, though lately city halls have been moving pretty well and not a bad rate for medium and large houses. Of the city structures, having city halls, cantinas and hospitals is probably the best use of effort.
Considering the going rates for BER 13 Moisture Vaporators, I don't bother making BER 10 Moisture Vaporators.
As for housing, I keep a number of each large house, medium and guild halls on the vendor. Lately, I've decided to put 10 small houses in backpacks for mayors. I haven't found that many sales of small houses - probably too many promotions by mayors.
You might consider specializing in furniture. It's hard to have a good variety if most of your vendor space is reserved for deeds. You might even get away with just having Furniture 4 and buying schematics for the master level furniture.
Crafting stations sell pretty well, so you could also consider specializing in that.
My caveat is that my experience is limited to the Kettemoor economy.

I am on Bria server, and I just keep the colorful stuff in stock, anything with color sells. Also, keep the toolchests and other furniture that can hold items stocked,I sell those enough thatI just make factory runs of 50 or so, and restock from them, that way I dont have to make furniture everyday. The glass tables and end tables sell well for me too.
Harvesters I personally only do by order. Same with city structures, guild halls, large and medium houses. For you just starting out, the wisdom could be this: When someone comes up to you and asks for a structure that takes a lot of resources like the harvs or city structures, etc, if, by chance, they place the order then find it elsewhere cheaper, or are just plain old being mean by placing the order with no intention of picking it up. I have had that happen about 5 times, and now, I am sorry to say, I get a deposit up front on large structures. Half upon placing the order, half when delivered /picked up. That might not be a good choice for you, but when it happens to you, and you have to sit around and restock that large structure for the next 6 months or longer, you will see.
It is sad that people in this game would do such a thing to us, but it does happen. So be careful. Also, like someone else already mentioned, keep walls or structural modules ready at all times. I personally keep 500 of the structural modules in stock at all times so I just have to make walls from there. the reason I do this is a) i get xp for it, and I can use it grinding FS XP b) with 2 crafting tools in your tool bar you can make walls really fast. Might be a good idea to keep the regular Structure Storage Modules, and the smaller ones in stock too. I keep 100 of both around all the time. The rest I just make as needed.
Aslo, if you are looking for income which I am sure that is your goal......lol Find a Droid Engineer, and see if they need power core units, not the lighht ones, the regular ones. It could generate some serious income for you, depending on what DE you work for.
There is more, that I am sure I'm forgetting, but if you are on Bria server, send me tell or mail ingame, and I will help as much as I can. Hope this helps a bit, sorry for the lengthy lecture, LMAO!

Advice for a new architect... droparchitect and become a WS
But seriously... umm... architect is't exactly a money making profession just FYI so that is the first thing you should know before grinding it. If you are cool with not making much money then it is pretty fun making stuff.
The problem is our stuff (except for candles) doesn't decay. So the demand for everything inevitably will drop to the slow influx of new players on your server.
To answer your question, factories sell the best (at least on my server). Harvestors sellok too. Most of my cash is actually made doing other things, I just keep my points in arcchitect as a pittance.

As a new architect , too many months ago, a well stocked furniture outlet is a great attraction.
Takes time to build upa following but most of the people who "play" at architect for a while just do the harvesters.
If you can maintain a stock of furniture on vendor you will find people on your server very quickly come to know your name and the bigger business follows.
As for what sells. Its been said in previous postscolour sells especially the white.

ADVICE:
Get out of Architect and become a Combatant because the Dev's are destroying this profession and the crafting in the Game. Become a Hunter and kill animals for meat and milk. You will make more $$ than a architect who has no return buisness and with current lots given to try to compete in this profession is to time consuming and a big hassle.
That my advice..this game is moving away from crafting and more to a Combatant game...dont be way behind in the combatant professions when this game finishes destroying the crafting part of the game.
All that is taken care of in this game is for Combatants...Hence Combat upgrade, More Spawns ect...
And this was supposed to be a game that relyed on Crafting........ pfffff....typical of the Dev's....

Excellentreplies folks. It has been very helpful to confirm the things I assumed already.
I am trying to make walls day/night. Yes I did find out that ore is very hard to come by for some reason, and I buy it all when I can find it. I'll probablystock heavy and med harvs andcrafting stations then a few city structures as suggested above. I have 2 or 3 of every style house, if a few sell I'll just restock. I'm playing a bit with the furniture, basically making crates of lighting, chairs, and plants then a few of anything else that isn't ugly.
To answer a few questions above:
I'm not really looking to make money on this (a few bucks would be ok tho), I would just like this little "hobby" pay for itself. Imade my main an Architect to have a little crafting fun, pass the down timeand use up wasted skill points as I was only using him as a Doc.
I wanted the vendor to improve the vendor selection in my player city, and it is doing just that so far.
I have plenty of dough (Krayt Pearls are the best money maker that I can figure, and have sold many many)
I have a Jedi Alt, so I'm set for all the combat I can handle.
Many Thanks.

One more suggestion about walls if I may....
Make about 5000 structure mods and then you can do a run of 500 walls. It takes a while, but when they're finished you can sit down and make just about everything you need to stock the vendors.
On a side note, cross server lot trades I found very helpful. I have 3 static harvester farms, I usually have 20 pulling up ore at all times. The others I use for the other metals that are needed as weel as power to keep the bloody things running. I find it's much cheaper to dump 1.5 mil per month in maintenance than spending almost that much per week for Ore.

My main moneymakers are the heavy harvesters. I sell quite a few houses as well, but the profit margin isn't as good as harvesters on my server. I used to have a furniture vendor and I sold an unbelievable amount of furniture. But that just became WAY to time consuming to keep up, and the profits were not worth all that time to try and keep the thing stocked.
Word of advice...get ore, lots and lots of ore. When you think you have enough, go get a lot more

And build walls....lots and lots of walls...when you think you have made enough, make more...Those things go quick and are used in practically every structure you make.
