Is it possible for me to move my factory once its been placed?
If so how?

Ensure that the durability or whatever is at 100%, and that you have (maintenance rate * 100) credits paid into the factory. Then, choose the Destroy Structure option.
If you get a warning that says 'factory must be at 100% to reclaim the deed' or 'such and such credits must be in the pool to reclaim the deed', do not just ignore it. Follow its instructions, pay the appropriate maintenance costs, and then Destroy Structure again.
The deed will be placed in your inventory (provided it's not full, otherwise it poofs) and then you can place it in a new location.
