Thread: I think I may have the answer to the low selling price of houses.
This may be a possable fix to houses selling for less then they cost to make. Lets take a lesson from real life, Location, Location, Location not only are we the architects we are the real esate brokers of SWG. Don't sell Deeds. Sell a spot on the map, that's right place your houses then sell them with /tranferstucture. Deeds are endless good places to live aren't. If we all sell this way we will do fine!
That is my 2 credits

Actually, that sounds like a good "value add" for any type of player OTHER than an Architect, specifically those with professions that don't need harvester fed materials.
So any player with enough creditscould become a "Real Estate Developer" by buying houses from an Architect and placing them in prime scouted locations, possibly using personal harvesters to "stake out" a claim on an area temporarily to have better control over the "neighborhood" layout.
Unfortunately, as an Architect - I need all 10 of my lots and as many lots as I can borrow from my friends to get the materials needed - and to place the factories I need in order to actually make the houses.

I doubt that they would make an exception for lot limits just so that architects could get an advantage. It is a form of favoritism and would work agains the free market system.
really though I have read it before, it would be good to get some extra lots as an arcitect, maybe 1 every level up, and 2 at master for a total of 6. I am maxed in my lots assesed, andI am using a few of my friends in return for doing the leg work and building houses. I have build 1 and will have furn 1 tonight. 1 added lto per row isnt really showing favoritism, its helping a profession that needs some help.
You can have an endless amount of guns, so you can grind until you are done with your materials on guns.
You can have an endless pile of armor if youwant to jsut grind, again, until youare all of out material.
and grated you can have an endless amount of deeds, but you cant show them all, as i saw in another post. I have one of every style now built on Tat, but when I bump up a level or two i will start to fall short for this because I get so many lots. and with factories added, harvestors, we have it ruff. a few extra lots would not skew the masses to architect, the big hump of xp to get here would dissuade most just to get an extra harvestor. A few extra lots will be nice, you know they will add them, but first lets fix the games, crashes and datapad problems.
When poeple ask me how much for a small house, I tell them you can find another architect that will make you one for 10K. When he does, come back to me and I will sell you some furniture.

I do like the real estate idea the OP mentioned, I've considered doing it myself but the lot limitations won't allow me to do it. Great idea for a non architect though. I am planning on mentioning it to someone I know who is buying every 5k house he can from the local lowballer and reselling them for profit heh.
