Thread: How many Architects are also Master Artisans?

I'm a novice Architect looking towards the future and noticed that the higher-end items all need various sub-components made by Master Artisans. I was wondering how many Architects out there are Master Artisans also, or if you just find a Master Artisans to make crates of those components for them?

I am as you can see in my signature. Most of my business so far has been Harvesters though so I haven't really had to worry too much about making the larger structures such as Houses or PA Halls.

I am a master artisan and 4-4-4-3 architect (soon to be master). The only thing I need other people for are those darned droid storage modules. At least that's all I've come across so far that I couldn't make myself.

I am both, mostly just because of the convenience. I can make factory runs of whatever Master Artisan stuff I need, when I need it. As others have pointed out that way I also have control of the quality I get - when it matters.

I was Master Artisan before I was a Master Architect. Dropped Master Artisan to make room for points. Dropped scout picked up Master Artisan again. Dropped Master Artisan and the whole tailor line to pick up Medic and have some spare points. Soon enough I'll have to give up Master Marksman as I progress up the Rifleman tree.

I have a large enough business now where I can afford to have one or two suppliers for the stuff needed from a Master Artisan. Dont miss dropping it a bit.

i am both.. needed 2 lines anyway for architect and merchant.. then survay is good to have... so may as well get all 4 lines.. and the componants a master can make are needed for some larger houses/ guild halls etc... and its handy to be able to make powerups for guild mates and have max experimentation points yada yada...

when i am asked what my swg proffession is i say architect... but i have master artisan as well for the above reasons

I am a master artisan, master architect, and master merchant. I don't think you need master artisan, but it's handy sometimes.

I am both. I'm the main crafting station specialist on Intrepid so it's very handy. I've also had novice droid engineer 3 times so far.

I've been both for a long time now. I recently dropped the Artisan mastery, to further exploresomeother professions, but not before making schematics forthe master artisan pieces I thought I might need. Just getting the mastery long enoughto make a few schematics wont work for craft stationsthough. It takes a while to collect thebest resources needed for top end stations and the very best stuff is seldom for sale.

I am not, though I will be mastering it soon for the badge and dropping. I don't worry about the Master Artisan components, I will buy them if I need them.

I've been a Master Architect from the beginning, but didnt take up Master Artisan until vehicles came out. I really didnt need it, except for some survey. Like you said, find a good Master Artisan to buy your crates from an you can save your skill points.
