I long for MORE furniture too, NPC cities get all this cool furniture, we get a limited selection. you would think a master architect could craft ANY type of furniture in the game.
Colour furniture would sure make it look 500% better.

I agree with Daisame, fix the bugs, then I'll care more about paint and dye.
