If you are climbing the architect profession, you might want to check out:

www.swgcraft.com

Look on the left side where it says "schematics". Click on "skill tree". Then choose "architect". This gives you the whole Architect skill tree, showing what schematics you get at each box. All of those schematic names are linked to a full page all about that schematic.

One nice thing about the schematics is not only do they show what resources and subcomponents you need for the schematic, they also show you (for components) what other schematics make use of this.

So, go down to Novice Architect and find "wall module". Click on that and it will bring up the info. Look at the bottom of the page and it tells you what things take walls to build.

In a nutshell, ALL houses and other structures medium or larger (including PA Halls, Cantinas, etc) and ALL harvesters medium or larger (with a couple of exceptions) take walls to build.

If you are running out of space and/or cash, see if you can find a Master Architect to sell your walls to - 5-9K is the typical range per wall. But hang on to as many as you can - you'll need them to build things with later.

How much do Walls usually sell for?

And how much do Gungan Head Statues sell for too?

Walls seem to go for 6-12k depending on the market of the server in question. I'd figure on them going for basially the going rate cost of raw materials. e.g. if ore and metal sells for 3 cpu then you might get 9k for a wall.

You probably won't get much for statues. There isn't all that much demand for them and probably more than one holocon grinder dumping them for cheap. I've bought them for 3k on the bazaar which is just 1 cpu of raw material cost. You might ask around with the architects on your server to see if any of them have any demand for the statues. If they sell any at all then you might work a deal with them where you sell them the statues at a good price and they make a profit off you.

Too many holo grinders make the statues for them to have any value, it would seem to me that these are only in the game to allow grinding through the architect profession as quickly as possible. That's ok by me, the dumpingof these on the market does not affect the true architect (although ore is now more expensive and harder to obtain as a result).

Walls on the other hand have a real value for architects, they are our main component in making almost anything worthwhile, so if you are grinding just for xp, but do not have the spare cash to spend on making'throwaway' items then consider making walls and selling them to Master Architects to subsidise your grind. I would buy walls currently at around 7.5k each on Bria.

If you inrend to stay an arch then it is WALLS, WALLS, WALLS.

walls are always in demand... new server means lots of guild halls being placed... they need to be made by master archs..

depending on the type of halll there are 15 off walls per guild hall... city call? cities will want to go up as well... 20 walls...

its never ending... heavy extractors? mineral 7 walls... etc etc etc..

you will always use your grinding walls.

Walls are great -- but just keep in mind it'll take you 10 times as long to get the same xp.

Walls are great, but you will make more money back selling the walls than you ever will with the statues. I have several Novice Architects grind walls with my material, its free xp for them and walls for me.
