Thread: Possible Bug? Moving furniture
I'm no expert furniture mover, but I cannot get /moveFurniture forward ## to work, anywhere!
I can place an item in the center of the room, select it, etc., but after I type in the command to move it forward, it tells me that I can't do it b/c it is not a valid coordinate or that it is not within the building. But I can move it back just fine (using /moveFurniture back ##), and it will sometimes move forward if I use the radial menu. Still, this is very annoying!!!
Is anyone else having this problem? It's been going on for a week now, at least.
I've tried that, too. It hasn't made any difference. (But thanks for making the suggestion! ![]()
Any other ideas?
I'm getting the same bugwhen I use/move forward #. Not consistently though - it seems to work for a while when I start decorating, but after *something* I start getting the same error. I've /bugged it and recommend anyone who gets the same bug do the same. Not a game-breaker, but highly annoying!

Moxinnal! Thank you for letting me know that I'm not alone with this problem!
I see that you are on Radiant, like me. I need to furnish my house. Do you have a shop? Or do you only take custom orders? Either way, let me know. I've got to get my place looking good!
Best bet is to stand in the middle of the room, target the furniture, and do a series of /move forward 1 commands. When you get the message, then that's as far as you can go. If it starts to disappear into the wall then stop and do a /move back 1.
Wow! I just started experiencing this problem with the /move forward command a couple of days ago!
Seemed to work just fine up till then. I'm now learning to use /move back in all situations. Pain in the neck but I think I've learned to live without /move forward.
Hi Oreg'enato! I don't run a furniture vendor any longer, but I do custom-orders for furniture, or we can discuss more holistic interior design consultations. I'll contact you in-game!

Thanks, Moxx! I'll send you an in-game email the next time I log on if I don't catch you online.
Any HotFix would be appreciated...
if /moveFurniture forward # does not work but /moveFurniture back # does (or vice versa) then just face the opposite direction and use the one that works, you will then find out whether it is the command that is bugged or if the location you are trying to move to will just not allow it.
