If a small house (for example) requires 10 Structural Modules, do those have to be factory made so that they are exact?

When building the harvesting mechanism's for Heavy Extractors what resource specification should you be watching for? ( like Overall Quality, Ect..... ) The mechanismisthe main contributor to the end products Base Extraction Rate. Correct?

Any info. would be great.

TIA,

See any number of threads on this forum, you are looking for SR, HR and UT above 900 on all resources used. Then experiment as far as possible as this will help towards the BER of the final build, you should be aiming to get the BER on the unit up as high as you can with 92% or more efficiency after experimentation. This applies to all the various styles of 'mechanism' for the different types of harvesters (Fluid drill pump, harvesting mech, manuf. mech, ore mining unit). If the unit calls for chems then either use one with higher on above stats than your average (25/25/50) of other resources (expensive option as this will cost more for the resource - e.g. fiberplast) - or use a chem with NONE of the required stats (cheaper option - e.g. liquid petchem/lube oil). For why this should be check all posts.

Note the HQ resources only need to be used for the main units and the final build, not for items such as walls, storage modules, gen turbines etc.

I'm doing this from memory, so check the other posts to make sure I have not made an error. Hope this helps.

the best way to see is to load up your crafting tool. select for example ore minining unit and click next.

this is the part where you load up your resourses.. on the bottom right it will tell you what stats are important to what ever you are making (this is true for every crafted item in the game)as aplicable to what you are crafting and in what %

hard to explain, but easy to see if you check it out in game by loading up the crafting tool.

hope this helps.
