Thread: Help with lighting

Can only seem to place 4 lights per room. This is fine for small rooms as I only need 4 to light the whole room. The problem comes when I try to place lights in the big room. If I add more than 4 lights they flicker on and off with only 4 lights on at any given time.

I think the only thing to do is try and move the lights around a bit to see if you can get it so that maybe they don't do that. Its caused by how the games graphicengine is handling howthe light sources I would assume. Also you might check with a friend to see if they see the same effect, could be do in part to your own graphic settings or something. I'm pretty much just speculating here.

I've had the same problem for as long as I can remember mate.
I'm so used to it now that it doesn't even bother me. In fact, I rarely think of it as a problem anymore. I prefer to report on the groundbreaking bugs that cause real in-game problems, so that SOE can have more time to work out those ground-breaking ones.

I think that everyone who plays a MMORPG should realize that there are going to be bugs in it, no matter what. Games as massive and as awesome as these will always have bugs, so don't go around and /bug every little thing you notice! The only things that really need to be /bug 'ed are the ones that cause problems and actually interfere with your gaming. Other than that, ignore them and get on with life!

lol, joke is on you, I didn't even /bug it, was wodering if it was my graphic card, have a low end one, will be upgrading it, hope that helps
