At some point, eventually, I want to revise the FAQ some. I'll probably start a new one and do some major editing.
I'd like to get input from people on how you'd like it to be organized.
Any comments or input on how you'd like the FAQ to be improved is welcome.
One thing I've noticed some is that people seem to have trouble finding things occasionally. Like someone will say they checked the FAQ but didn't find something which is actually in the FAQ.
Some things to think about...
Do you want separate sections like it has now? Or should I add or merge some sections?
Should I weed out a lot of the unfrequently asked questions to slim it down and make it easier to find stuff?
Or should I just prioritize the questions with the most commonly asked ones at the top?
Would you prefer more or fewer links to images of fat hairy Bothans in speedos?
Ok if I host the FAQ on another website? Or is that a problem??
(the HTML is a pain here on the Lithium forums, so it would be easier to maintain a page on my own webspace)
What about fonts/ colors? Does what I have work or is it hard to read with some of the forum skins or anything? Anyone using a browser that has trouble with anything in it?
Or... Is it good enough as it is and not really worth me spending several hours to try and make it better?
Please let me know what you all think.

I think it would be great to host elsewhere so the HTML can be done up right. Tables, pictures, etc....

The FAQ is good. But before you do anything look at the Shipwright forums FAQ you might see something in there that you can use. I like the way they have the Guide's at the top with links to other forum pages. And all of their links work and well send you somewhere else without having to copy and paste the link to get you there. Just a idea.
Another idea would be. I away like shorter is better, to bad it can't be broken up and just have a short one page with links to other pages so that if someone only needs to know about houses they just link there. So this page will only be one post yours, so no one can add to it. Any adds will be the the thead they are link too, say about houses. Good Hunting

Yes I'd like to have links setup as real clickies in my FAQ too. Reason I don't do that is every time you edit the FAQ it looses all the HTML code and you have to redo the links. Or you could save a copy of the HTML to a file or something. So it is just a pain to retain teh links anytime I update it and I often update it 2-3 times a month or more so it would be a hassle. In other words -I'm lazy. But if I moved the FAQ to outside webspace then it woudl be easy to maintain the page with HTML.
