Thread: Vendor storage nerfed?

I'm in the middle of moving. ThoughtI'd be slick & use a vendor as temporary "storage" to hold things since you can only carry a certain amount on your person each trip. I was putting things into backpacks & selling for 99999999 so no one would by them, then I get the old "vendor is full msg." What happened here???

Another question is, if you pickup a vendor at one house, can you drop it at another location, or do you have to empty it first???

Very frustrated master arch here. Any help??? Thanks.

1) Items in a pack (but not the pack itself unless it's empty) count against your vendor item limit.

2) You MUST empty the vendor first (including the stockroom) or all items in it will be destroyed when you remove the vendor.

Don't have that problem, yet. Did you reach your vendor limit. Also if you pick up your vendor it is gone. you'll have to make another one for the new location.

Just for everyone's knowledge, what is the per vendor item limit? I'm only allowed 2 vendors at my current level. I have one at the new house& one at the old.

It just seems I could loada lot more stuff onthe old vendor in the house I'm moving OUT of than the vendor I set up at my new location. <SIGH>

Vendor limits have not been nerfed lately.

But vendor limits were put in place back in publish 10. The amount you can store on your vendors depends on the merchant skill level. Business III in artisan gives a limit of 100 items, Business IV limit is 250, Novice Merchant is 750, and then it goes up from there with each additional Management skill giving+500 items. The limits are for all your vendors added together not per vendor.

slighlty off topic but still rrlating to vendors.

One of my chars delivers stuff to other peoples vendors on behalf of the archi who might just go spalt rather a lot.

I am finding that I keep getting "u have too many......" until the receipient accpets their offers. So in other words if
I deliver *** number of items to a frineds vendor and she doenst collect. I cant then go and deliver to anyone else until
she does. Foulplay if u ask me.

Anyone else getting this ???

Yes, it seems tied to the bazaar. When you have more than 25 items either for sale on the bazaar and/or to retrieve from the bazaar, you can't offer anything to a vendor. I don't know if items in a vendor stockroom count towards this number. However, what I have noticed, is that offering a backpack filled with stuff, only counts as 1 item.
