350 or 400 might do it, not including containers.
sigh, just have to get that off my chest

I agree with you completely! It's about time Sony expanded the team of developers for SWG. However, 400 might be a bit overdone... it increases the chance someone trips over server cables.

I believe they mean 250 skill points. And I agree. I'd prefer if they just added a few, like 25-50 at most. Additionally I think that they should have made pilot skills cost something too. I understandthe SOEish logic behind not doing so with piloting, but it seems they could have increased the entire pool AND added pilot costs without too much trouble. It kills me that I can't master 3 crafting profs and stillget Master Merchant!

I personally think the amount of skill points we have now is about right. And I like how they made space skills free cause I'd hate to have to delete my ground skills to play JTL.
I don't think it would be good to have individual charactherse mastering 4 or more professions. Personally I'd prefer they give us an extra free character that we can use. Maybe not 2 per server but 1 per server plus an extra that we can use to have 2 on any 1 server or something.

I agree 100%. I master 3 professions, but dropped master Art, now i actually have to go find a M Artisan to make a few componants and such, that's good for me

I agree on the 250 skillpoints. If you add more, there are always people who still want more, and the devs have to draw a line somewhere. What I do like to see however is that Politician skills only use 1skillpoint (or make them look like less a waste of skillpoints).
And yes, the item limit of guild halls should be increased, as should all item limits. There is an enormous amount of new loot and it's becoming increasingly hard to store all the objects.

Skill points in containers? I reckon the OP was talking about the old question of how many items in a building.

Heheh even though I agree i thinking that this was a storage post from the OP.. I must comment on the alternative discussion that was spawned..
This Game was Purposfully Designed to create a system that required people to work together. I truly believe that the it was invisioned that for crafters there would be markets for Resources .. sub componants and finished goods. that Merchants would actually resell other peoples goods. etc etc...
We arent suppose to be able to Do it all.. that is the Main reason we are only allowed one account perserver. SOE wants us to go out and establish partnerships.. Why?? Number one reason people stick with a game... the friends and bonds established.
Unfortunately the tools are not inplace right now to actually make it more effiecent to work together in a partnership. that relationship between merchant and crafter takes alot of trust or a rich merchant... for example... Personally I would rather see a fight for the tools to actually be able to work together over fighting for things to help us do it all. But that may just be me
