I was wondering if cantinas had to be placed in player cities or if they could be placed anywhere you want. Thanks.

they are classed as a city structure, and they have to be planted by a master entertainer if memory serves.

TBO if u wanted to use one as a house I would just go out into the wilds and try.

I rather fancied the idea of living in a city hall or a tat pa hall but as i live on naboo and all my firneds like living where we are I have to put up with my nice houses in moonlight valley.

TBO on naboo its by far THE best spot.

Cantina needs Master Dancer/Musician/Chef. Master Entertainer is not enough

And yes, it can only be placed inside a City.

They have to be placed in a city that's at least Level 2.

They take 5 lots, but if the city dies the cantina will stay where it was placed until either the maintenance runs out or the owner removes it.

The kicker is if the city goes *POOF*, the cantina stays.

Wish Cantina's and Medical Centers to be placed Outside cities as well.

I do not understand reason why not. Can't we see any doctor has private clinics or outside-city taverns in real? why not in game?
