Hello fellow architects ,

Frank here with my thoughts as I end my first week as a fully blown master archi (10 point atm ) as in i get 10 goes at stuffing up the experiment.

Monday - Wednesday ..... aha a factory woot time for some big grown up archi fun - 100k lgo crap stats and a few steel......

500 Structure bits = a nice collection of wall modules, next in goes the bits for power cores and small storage doo daa's

couple hours of hand crafted furniture for the vendors and "ping" u got mail...... factorys done so time for a go at a harvester.

I have a few k of hi ut etc steel and ores, whoopee 3 rate ber13 mineral harvies. Give to guild in return for the ore.

OMG more mail someones looted me vendor and i have 85k

Shopping spree time having borrowed a few credits from my CH alt, (he wont mind lol) Ships in my YACHT to Coronet to have a look for some vendors

CTRL V vendors - resources OMG look at the green mass..................

Ok plan b at least 50 % of the vendors I visited over the next few hours are either broke or plain empty.....

Plan b is actualy plan f = food (real life micro wave taglietelle) and a beer. I sit semi afk watching all the spam but notice some chap offering everything at 1.5 cpu.............. emmmmm wicked. Pot luck the vendors only 2 pages worth but he has a selection of good and not so good stuff but hey ho with 85k I have to be frugal.

I notice my email flashing but its not a vendor email its from a friend of a friend who needs pa hall and can I do it now.

how many people decide to want a pa hall NOW....... dash home kick the factory into hi gear and with the last of my ore makes the pa hall and offers it to my friends vendor for 1 cr.

Ok so now i am "poor" and have little resources............ no worries its guild space battle night so I log me main and start on a few missions to pass the time.

My friends friend logs on and asks about his pa hall. I explains its on the other friends vendor ... "Cool" comes the reply ... "how much do i u o ???"

"Errm" says me "I offerd it to my friend at 1 cr he's my friend, and your his friend"

"Wow" says the customer... ping goes my email, "u have recived 200,000 via escrow."

I almost crashed my ship in suprise......... oh says the now new best friend " i have offered a few bits and bobs to your vendor.

with that I finish the mission with the guys and land to log.

Thursday. logs on to a flashing email light. Vendors sold another 20 odd bits over night so I get pen and paper to do a fast stock check.

Does that and am just going back to the warehouse, and remembers the "offers" bit...... omg 100k ore 100k iron some 50 k in odd bits of aluminium etc and best of all a mice piece of loot = a wanted han solo poster.

So for the friendly gift of a pa hall I got the money and then some more than enough ore to make more stuff and some loot.

The grape vine on Chimaera then enters warp mode and I get about a dozen tells and a lot more emails my poor feet havent touched the ground since.

BTW, I have invested in a droid with all the crafting stations installed. Little Crafty goes thru batteries faster than the duracell bunny

Friday ... day off real life stuff gets in the way boo hisss

Weekend
I am now mid way thru helping some newly weds on Tat decorate their large house " on the fly" 4 hours and counting

I have 2 factorys that are now running at full steam, 600k in the bank and about 1 million units of ore/metals and stuff.

I have found that by offering a varied selection and keep the vendor well stocked with fairly priced items and the credits have begun to role in, allowing me to slowly but surely buy in better and bigger amounts.

I might not have millions but I have friends and more each week. I get the chance to "trade" for my services, which has gained me some loots that as I have no weapons skills probably would stand a snowballs chance in hell of getting.

End of week one and its been a blast. Its also dusted the cobwebs of the old grey cells. Dont let anone fool u into thinking archi is easy. it might be a fairly easy grind but from there on in it just gets F U N

Frank
ps the archi is suppose to be an alt . my poor CH is suffering from user withdrawal atm and can probably be found drunk inside the ID tent waiting for a shave.

heh - thanks for the fun read. Welcome to the hi-jinks of crafting

Nots\ sure if you realise - but if you just use a droid for crafting, they don't require batteries to operate the crafting stations

Week 2 has been a blast i am still making stuff for guild, and I have just completed a make over for them newly weds.

I have also turned my ranger ch into a loot gatherer hoping to get bits for them new "recyclers" but so far just wires and printer bits.

Got a lot of nice prints made and they r slowly beginning to sell.

Happy to report i have renewed my subs for yet another month,

Frank

Good to hear a happy tale of a happy player, there are so many whiney 'all the 1££7 g££k$ are spoiling my fun, I wanna quit' and 'thank you SOE for screwing my game upo' messages that this one restored my faith in players

Oh, and BTW, welcome to architect!

(psst wanna buy some ore?)

I am always on the hunt for crap ore to make bricks with. if i cant mine enough myself there's a guy north of cror does it for 1.5 cpu.

If you can match that and if u play chimaera add me to friends, and call me when u see me on
