What does declaring your house a residence do? I can't find anything in the manual or online help. Whats the point?

The only different I noticed is that when I die now it always wants me to clone to the nearest cloning facility to my home. Other then that I have no idea.

One thing is that you can call any droids while in your residence. Otherwise, you need to be in a town.
