Run 1900 meters away from the city chasing a great concentration of low grade ore. I top off at 66%, about 1900 meters outside of Mos Espa. Woohoo! i think, ill just place my harvesters here on this nice piece of flat ground.

Unable to place structure here....no room to place structure here.....Building not permitted here....Unable to place structure in your current state...no room to build here....building not permitted here...building not permitted here...WTH?? im almost 2000 meters outside the city!!.....im sorry, but building is not permitted here.....no room to build here.....building not permitted here....

To make a long story short, I spent over half an hour to finally place my 6 harvesters on about a 50 to 55% concentration.....boy this game sure is fun!!!

Architects should get to make a "levelling" deed or something usable on shallow grade inclines. It would be a good consumable item for architects to boost the profession and get rid of this type of BS. Seriously you can level the side of a sheer cliff for a camp, but you cant do anything with a 2% grade for major construction?

Heh if you think that's bad I had a great concentration of Copper outside Corellia, except that EVERY SINGLE BIT of usable land was unavailable. Either there was one VERY tiny dent missing out of every spot or some inconsiderate person had placed a personal harvester in the worst possible position and blocked not just one but three or four good lots that would normally have held a medium harvester.

We can travel faster than light between planets but we can't even fill up a hole with a volume of a cubic meter or so...

I will say that sometimes having a Heavy Harvester that cannot be placed ina position that the personal harvesters can, is very much irritating.

I also got "building not permitted here" 1500 meters outside of Imperial Outpost on Talus. No explanation at all why it was not permitted. There were a few fallen Tie Fighter and one of those walkers around. But didn't see any base or any kind of permanent attraction of any kind. Must have just been some kind of area for display and they didn't want buildings to clutter the place up. But really it is very long overdue to have some kind of marks on the map for no build locations. Or during survey to have some lines drawn for no build areas. Really, it is truly pathetic to have to figure this out by trial and error of placinga deed.

There is an entire large section west of Kor Vella that is no build, even though it is way outside the 1500m range.

Go west of the shuttle port and see.

Not only is it a pain trying to find spots to place heavy harvestors. But now that lairs have a billion hps, GL trying to place a harvestor down where a lair is. I spent about 15 mins killing a wrix lair and the 50 spawns it produced just so i could lay down some heavies.I'malso almost a master pistoleer. It must be hell for anyone without any combat skills to try and place harvestors.

I came back to the game tonight to try my hand at crafting and hope I could have some fun in that playstyle. Combat certainly isn't, but that's another story. Your description perfectly relates my experiences tonight. This game is frustrating, not fun.
