Thread: OK to go ahead with a big Generator Turbine run?
I was wondering if anyone knew if it was OK to start a very large Generator Turbine factory run. I got a 61% schematic and I was concerned with upcoming patches if these would become obsolete thus wasting a shedload of aluminum and copper.
thanks!

they're bumping Archi Experimentation from +55 to +100 in next big patch....
if you can wait a couple of weeks to do the run, your schematic should kick a lot more ass...if you can't, then do what you have to do.
hope that helps.

yes, that helps a lot. i can wait, I'll just halt production and start collecting resources until then.
thanks!

The experimentation on generator turbines effects nothing. Not from my experience anyway. Only your core components ore mining, lomu's, fluidics etc effect efficiency, and your final combine materials for the hopper (subs are currently not playing a roll in this)
I had already done a run of 100 gen turbines before GreenMarine posted yesterday, so I hope they don't count for anything after patch. They're only 48% experimented ![]()
Reeka,
That's what I thought but I was unsure whether they would have an effect in the future on the harvesting rate, or speed of factories or something. Maybe a dev can answer this...

It is possible that it will effect something. But currently they don't. I am not doing any mass runs until I get 10 points and see where the caps are. If I miss the boat, I miss it. Don't really care much. I'm an indepedant so I dont mind curbing business for awhile to offer the same good and reliable service instead of blowing through a ton of my resources trying to "prepare" just to find out something changed... seems to be the theme of this game actually.
