I've been with the game since launch and my first profession was Architect. I enjoyed making structures and harvs. I even dabbled in interior design making things such as aquariums and fireplaces. I even helped someone master architect by giving them resources and contract work.

Unfortunately the lack of sales and the increasing number of Master Architects on my server have brought my crafting to a grinding hault. I can't remember the number of times I opened up my mail box only to see a number of "Auction Unsuccessfull" messages. The fun of architect slowly faded day by day.

Just recently I dusted off my crafting tool and idle crafting station and crafted all the best harves I could make. Floral, chem, mineral, water and fusions were pushed out as fast as I could make them until all my resources were depleted. I took the remaining components and gave them to a fellow architect.

The last item I handed over to my friend was my crafting apron I held on to it for as long as I could but I knew that I had to move on. With a heavy sigh I finally dropped the apron in his backpack hanging on the wall and walked away.

I had decided to drop all of my architect and artisan skills to pick up medic and move on to doctor. I chose the medical field not for the money but for the joy ofcrafting my own meds and buffs to help others. (not to mention that master doc and master swords make a better combo than master arch and master swords :smileyvery-happy

To all the architects who chose this proffession because they enjoy it, I bid a fond fairwell.
Good luck to all of you and I'll see you in the medcenter/starport

Good luck in whatever you do. I've never gotten a chance to talk to you because you dont seem to post here much, but I wish you a fond farewell. Ic-e Natelu.

After that they came for the Trade Unionists, I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. And then they came for me, but there was no one left to speak.

I know how you are feeling...on Radiant we have a glut of Architects recently that are flooding the market with cheap heavy harvs (100k) and other things. Ive been specialising in getting an insane amount of furniture churned out at the moment including tons of Master stuff but im rapidly starting to lose interest.

Im going to get an alt soon so she can take up the reins for a little while, but its hard to keep interested when you log on in the morning and see no flashing emails meaning no sales....even with a lot of advertising.

As Wierd as it sounds this is the same exact thing I did last night.. Altho I've yet to pass on all the components I had left as sales died.

I'm also going to do doctor.. not for money as I've plenty of that but for me and my guild.

Good luck to all architects out there

Sad to see each of you go, but I know it's bound to happen. I've considered this move myself, but have been reluctant to hit the buttons to start regaining my skill points. UGH.

I doubt I can do it to myself.

I wish each of you that are leaving the best of luck in your next choosen proffesion, and remember, we're always here for you.
