Hi there - I'm trying to start an outpost for a guild of mine, and I have a few questions about it..

1) What's the maintenence for the outpost, and what actually affects it? I've head 25kcr a week, is that accurate?

2) Is it possible to disable all the taxes? We don't want citizens paying anything to be here.

Thanks!

U might be better off asking this question on the Politician's forum, but I'll give it a shot.

1) The only maintenance for a city is the cost of the City Hall maintenance, plus the maintenance of all city structures, such as garages, cantinas, med facilities, etc. This may be inaccurate, but that's how I understand it.

2) Yes. You can set whatever taxes you want. Setting a small tax amount will help you out paying for the city hall tho. That way ppl don't have to /tip money to the mayor every week or so.

ok i run a city and had my guild and another guild jointed in this effort. What i do so i do not charge taxes is tell everyone as they move in as i greet them is that hey every week or so goto the city terminal and donate what ever you can to keep the city and the growth going and keep me from having to force taxes. They like the idea and they do not have to /tip the maintaince of the city hall is 35k a week and every 6 days the city does an update. It counts how many people live there and caculates if the maintance been upto date and if someone was running against you as mayer then it tallies the vote and makes winner mayer. The citizens automaticaly votes for the current mayer. If someone was running against you they have to go physicaly and change their vote or other wise they vote for you without them even trying or even knowing its a auto system. So for someone to over throw a mayer is pretty hard. if you reach 20 people within 6 days you get level 2 city then 35 people 3 and so on till level 5 city and with each levels adds things the citt will allow you to place and do. Every week based how many votes you get(votes are auto) you as mayer get the xp and get the ability to do and place certain things so you need to move up as well as the city. 1 more thing

i made this mistake once

Do not place a city till you are gurentee 10 people that time. if you do not get 10 people within 24 hours your city hall will be destroyed. That happen to me once. You cannot redeed a city hall once placed eather. but i learned my lesson i did weeks of planning sat my guild and an allied guild and managed to get 20 people in my city within 2 hours of me placing it so when the city updates hehehehe i will be level 2 and already have a friend waiting for that so she can place a cantina yayayayaya. If your on the bria server the city is on talus and its called rome if you e mail me in game i will give wp as we are not registered on the map till i get the xp. my name is ockaso on there and hope this helps. oh and as your city ranks up the border of your city will expand
