Thread: What strikes me as strange....

....that even though Heavy Mineral Installations use the most resources out of all of the heavy harvestors Architects can create (on a flat cost by resource unit usage), they are often the cheapest of the bunch!!
and not only that...if a medium house and a Deep Crust Chemical harvestor take roughly the same resources to make, why do you find most architects on different galaxies charge almost twice the price for a DCCH over a MH?
What strikes you as strange about the market we inhabit?

Well one major reason for this is that a dabbler architect can make medium houses with grind materials.
Yet aheavy harvester requires at least about half the skill points of master and takes some high quality materials.

True - but on Valcyn at least we are seeing high quality Duralloy steel and and even high UT/SR/HR ore going for the same price as grind materials (I mean I recently brought some >950 Duralloy steel for 2cpu!!).
