I finally went through Bestine, & bought the Painting Schematic. Can I do a factory run on these? I beleive I can, but since the bloody thing cost 48k, I thought I would ask 1st.

Is there a new paiting yet? The last one I got was Eye of mon 2 or whatever...didn't want to pay for the same one again.

Yesterday I finally realised I could now make the Matberry (sp) Plant painting...never bothered with them in the past but now im an architect ive started a factory run to make a few. Doubt any will sell but ill chuck them on my new Furniture vendor anyway.

Believe it or not, u can make quite a bit of income off of these paintings. Any kind, just a matter of being strategic bout it. If u sell at starports, u can fetch 10k easily with the newest painting, and even the older ones I sell on the bazaar at 6k ea. I highly suggest the factory run. U can make a grip of crated paintings with relatively little resources... I have seen some players sell these paintings for as high as 40k ea and even higher, so dont waste it by making two paintings. At the least use the paintings to pay for the schematic cost.

And the new paintings come out every few weeks, u can see the "featured" painting b4 u enter the museum curators' room, it has two "free'standing" lamps surrounding it. When a new painting is there, then a new one is available.

My guild gathers enough hide for a full run of 1000 paintings (not easy). Then we sell them on the bazaar for 6k each. When they don't sell themselves, I simply walk through town once or twice and say "we have the latest painting on the bazaar, don't travel to a shop, and don't overpay" (they generally run for 15k on my server). It rakes in a cool 6million minus expenses (which are low, since we do our own harvesting) for our guild.

Sorry if this is a really noob question but I went to acquire the latest schematic for the Mon Cal eye on my server (Corbantis) and was charged 48K for it. The schematic nets me 2 paintings.

There is an architect selling the painting for 10k a shot. What am I missing?

There seems to be a lot of mis-matched pricing of architecture product on my server so I'm wondering what is 'normal' for painting pricing on your server.

You can use the schematic you bought to make 2 factory schematics, netting potentially 2000 paintings, which, even at only 10K per, is quite a nice profit...

Even a run of only 50 or so is still quite nice in the long run.
