Thread: Just to beaware that You may need to change your crafting stations

  • Crafting: Weapon/Droid Crafting tools have been changed to not work with every single draft schematic in the game. Generic items that are not handled by any other specific crafting tool can still be crafted and experimented on with a Weapon/Droid Crafting tool.

    I bet i ain't the only architect out there using WDG crafting stations that is gonna have to move to srtucture and furniture..

    Hmm, i've always used the structure and furniture one exclusively - why would someone use a different one?

    As your quote relects, they are referring to the *tools*, not Stations. The *tools* are being changed. Stations are, as far as I have seen, staying the same. You wont be able to make Architect items with a WD&G tool.

    Took them long enough to fix this bug. It was like this back in the long long ago on live. Glad they are finally fixing it.

    Bah. I've always used structure tools/stations. Maybe everyonce in a while I've used a WDG tool in order to make a structure mod, but that's about it. No worries.

    This is how it works currently:

    You can craft just about every item and experiment that item using a weapon and droid craftig tool near a weapon and droid crafting station.

    With the new patch you will have to use the profession specific crafting tool for schematics that state "specialized crafting tool required". In using that specialized tool you will only be bale to experiment at the same type of crafting station, so this will change the crafting station you need as well.

    Looks like my vendor will be selling a few more private stations after the patch, nice-)
