Ok, I know on the bazaar you sometimes can snag great deals. Either people just want to unload something for more space or don't care what its really worth, lots of reasons.
Last night I bought 9, BER10 Medium Harvs for 6k ... yes thats right 6k. I can't even imgaine what a loss they are taking by selling them that cheap. I would guess they are doing it for the reason of getting there name out there. However
thats not gonna work as I will keep buying them up. Its worth it to me to spend 54k and buy them and hope that the person who might have bought them heads to my cities mall and spends 30k apiece instead.
If you can't beat them ... buy them out!

/shrug My guess is that it was someone selling off harvs they didn't need because they upgraded to a BER 13. I'm doubting that the one selling them was the one making them.
At least I hope that isn't the case with the 3x ber 13s and 3 food factories I found for 6k each, and all 3 harvs had 15k maint and power in them.

I can't imagine why someone would purposefully put BER13's or BER10's on the bazaar for 6k when they could just shout "harvesters for sale, dirt cheap! BER13 for just 25k!! PST" or similar. Shouldn't have any problem selling good harvesters in Coronet.

One possible explanation for high ticket items on the bazaar is if someone clicks on the wrong item in their inventory when they are trying to list something for sale on the bazaar.
e.g. they meant to dump a small house they didn't need cause they just bought a large house off someone but they accidentally click on the large house instead of the small.
I sold a small house for 750 credits once that way.

I also attribute this to new architects not knowing good pricing guidelines. I pick up factories from time to time on the bazaar. I also see lower ber harvesters up for sale there too, but I figure they have yet to learn what the item can fetch on their server.
Its also possibly somoene leaving game and wanting to give away thier items quickly. Or could be they got the items from friends at no charge and want to sell them.

Last week I actually won an auction for a factory (I forget which, it's not important) that someone had set with an opening bid of 5999!
Somebody bought it from me for 50k two days later.
