How does buying lots work exactly can is it like someone just sell a lot to you, or do they have to place a harvester for you and then give you Administrator rights to it? If so can they take back their administartor rights without your permission? And what happens if the person deletes his character do you lose you lots?

buying lots basicaly means you give the person one of your havestors, you tell them where to place it and they put you on the admin list. You pay the maintence and power and all of that, you just can't pick it up or re-name it. And yes they can run off with your harvestor, so you wouldn't want to do it with someone you don't know. hope that helped

If someone deletes the character then yes you can lose the harvester and will have "bought" something that no longer exists. I'm not sure how it is exactly working right now and if harvesters automatically delete when a char is deleted or what. If it isn't working right now then it could certainly start working tomorrow or the next day.

I think that there is a wide range of ways you can use other people's lots, ranging from an arrangement where you supply the harvester and pay a fixed (one time or weekly) fee to one where they own the harvesters and give you admin rights in exchange for fees (one time, weekly, percentage of take, etc). No matter what arrangement you have, if they are the "owner" of a harvester, they can take it down or destroy it at will, so take that into account when you set up the deal. Notice that there may be a differences in how well you know people and what kind of deal you strike.
