I'm not a architech but I figure this would be the place ot post this.
Last week I decide to buy a guild hall (tat gh). and figured I would go into decor over load... the plan was to fill every room in the house with some sort of theme...
I got the "beb room" done
I got the "Security room" done
I got he "Imperial Faction furniture room" done
I got the "lobby/store room" done
I got the "Jedi investigation room" done
I got the "com center" done
I got the "crafting center" done
then it stopped... i was full... so ended my dream of haveing the "house" like feeling.......
I even cut out ALOT of the little things and kept mostly to crafted items but still ran out....
think there will ever be a time when they will add more storage for larger houses???.....
I mean I wanted to get the:
kitchen
bathroom
den
spare bed room all done

Why the hurry? I am glad of any excuse for not getting round to decorating the spare room, cutting the grass or tidying the garage...

Sorry honey I can't put a new shelf in the 2nd bedroom. We've hit the 150 item limit in our medium size ranch style house, floorplan 2 already.

My wife plays SWG so if I used this I'd a least get a laugh out of her before she started beating me up!

No arguement from me on that. I hate having bags full of stuff and having to run from house to house. Also hate using vendors for that, but usually that's what winds up happening. Especially a guild hall.. That thing should be able to hold LOTS of stuff..

I agree, never enough room for all the decorations! The limit should be more proportionate to the size of the building.

Considering that you get more space from two small houses (4 lots) than from 1 guild hall (at least 7lots) i think the lots used are not proportional to the space. Also remember, a guild hall is meant to be for many ppl, perhaps even to share... why would it have LESS items than two houses?? If you are paying more for the place up front, and more to keep the lights on, surely enough storage room to furnish the place would be nice.

It would seem logical that a 2 lot house = 150 items, then a 6 lot house would be 3x that, 450. 525 for a 7 lot Tatooine Guild hall, and 675 for the 9 lot Naboo and Corellian PA Halls.
But, I guess that makes to much sense..

'furniture' or other items of decore shouldn't count against the storage for the building .. or maybe should count 1/2 or 1/4 of an iem?
