I'm demonstrating my game-ignorance here. I hope you'll bare with me:
I'm curious what the quality of some components do to a finished product. Specifically, if I create Structure Modules, for instance, that are very low quality, what kind of impact does that have on a house, vs. if I had used the highest quality items? Is there an effect in the final product, or does it not make much difference?
I'munder the impressionthat most of the items that can't be experimented on (Structure Mods, Gen Turbines, etc) don't really affect the final product. Is that correct, or am I way off base? If I'm wrong--what are the ramifications?
I know that items that can be experimented with obviously benefit from higher-quality (depending on the necessary attribute) materials..but is that true for those non-experimental items?
Thanks. Hope this was clear. If not, let me know, I'll try to clarify.

As far as i know only experimented items affect the final effectiveness of structures... For example, i use really bad walls and get BER9 mediums at 1/3/2/2...

The only things you need to worry about experimenting on are the actual mining units (light ore mining units/turbo-fludic drilling pumps etc.) and the final assembly also should use high quality stuff and experiment on.
Walls, Generator Turbines, Power core units etc do not need good resources or experminting
Hope that helps
