Thread: Why cant architects have new furniture that's NOT loot?

I've been an interior designer for over a year in this game. It's getting to the point that I'm using non-architect stuff to create furniture designs. I was very excited about the new schematics coming out. I thought "WOW, new designs for my customers." The nerf was a slap in the face. Anyone who has a schematic wants the item for themself. Or I have to pay very inflated prices for one piece of furniture from a vendor. So I'm back to where I started. I am a non combat character with limited access to acquiring these schematics. I dont understand the reason for paying millions for a couch, rug ortable.
Tailors recently got new clothing schematics added to their skilltree. Why cant architects get new furniture or an option to color the old furniture? I understand having loot, but many of the loot items are just everyday furniture.
Oh well, back to making the same old furniture. I'm so disappointed. 
I think I'll go get some crackers to go with my whine.

Although I don't do designs, I still hate the nerf. I looted a Tanned Hide, said to myself:"Bah, I can wait till tomorrow to make a run!"
And the next day, BAM! Nerf!

yeh me too was having a ranger get me some hide for a nice run to make mem cheap for the masses then SOe raises the red flag. i sorta understand why but this was so tempting to be a new market now its just trade->make->move along unless you have nice ppl to get you like 30 schems for free

Ever since my first house I ever placed in this game I thought they should put some form of televisions in. I'dlove to see Architects be able to makesome form of a futuristic television.

I personally think devs need to wake up and see with out archs there would be no GCW. How are the other profs going to make armor or weapons or whatever if it doesnt start here with us.
Yeah...this "bug" nerf sucks a**. I am really pissed. I had rangers bringing me in all kinds of hide and was so excited about all the new stuff. Some of it is really cool. Now all I can hope for is to find it cheap somewhere. Cheap right now is like 500k an item. That is ludacrious in itself. Only archs can make the stuff but we cant loot it if all we are is crafters.
Wish devs would get their heads out of their a**es and do something with this game instead of slowly killing it.

I think we could do well with some more ornamental items as well...i've looted the "decorative shisha", i think more things like that (that we could craft as archis) would be a nice touch

I think we all need to calm down a little. The DEV's are not purposesly screwing us over, they simply haven't gotten to our profession in their profession revamp yet. If they don't add in new schematics and and furniture and stuff with the Architect Patch, then we can be really pissed. I think that we have made it clear what we want. Now, we just have to wait for Santa to put it under the tree.
Remember, a true Jedi (NOT those in-game fakes!) has patience.

cant remember where it was said but someone said a long time ago "architects a naughy and should be punished" as a exuse to why devs ignore us
