Hiya
I would rather respec my crafter then cancel my account.
I can't play her the way I played her before. Just trying to leave my house yesterday resulted in 9 incaps, and 3 deaths before I logged out and gave up.I am not totally against the CU, I am however very upset that I have to either pay ppl to protect me, or ask others to stop what they are doing just to get me out of my house to do things. Even if I have ppl follow me around to survey and place harvestors it will be a long drawn out process as anything that even looks at me results in instant death or incap.
Keep in mind too that ppl who play this game for combat or PvP are not really interested in babysitting.
Is there any chance of allowing respec for crafters?

Nope, no crafting skills respec. Only combat. Luckily I was a novice Pistoleer before CU. I've respec'd to Novice Rifleman because I like to get my first hits in from outside of 35 meters (max for pistols). Unfortunately my massively impressive combat level 14 toon can only wield a spraystick at the moment.

oh well
I would rather cancel the account then try to cope that way. I know for a fact I am not grinding out millions of xp when my other chars are finished templates. I am also not going to drop merchant just so that I can kill something, how will I sell my items?
It is certainly not fun dying everytime I step outside, I also don't like the idea of paying for a babysitter, or asking ppl to stop what they are doing to spend hourssurveyingand placing harvestors.. Even worse yet, wanting to place my harvestors and having to wait for everyone else to be ready to go which could take awhile to gather a full group.
Which would be for nothing anyhow when I die just being looked at.
While all this is certainly most disapointing for me, its more of a loss for soe as that is 15 dollars a month they lose. I have to wonder if any of this was thought out at all. Why not give crafters armor certs, and ablities to do their tasks without such a huge inconvience. Masked scent, or a cloak ability.. something to allow them to be semi independant. Having a full crafting profession and merchant does not leave the skill points to be a successful hunter in any capacity.
