i keep getting asked for different types of plants and trees, in particular the ones you see in kaadara starport, are these a craftable item ? or am i just stuck with the few i can make.
any help would be much appreciated

You're stuck, sorry.
However, if we ask really really nicely for several years perhaps they will introduce a loot schematic that will drop off some level 80 NPC that most crafters couldn't kill if their life depended on it and allow you to make a single new plant that you would have to charge 50k for just to cover the money you had to pay to buy the schematic in the first place.

Or they might tell our correspondent that the "ball is rolling" on new styles of plants and trees and ask him to poll us on which ones we'd like. Then we'll collect 5000 votes over 2 years. But SOE will completly forget about it or just repeatedly 'reprioritize' us back to the end of the line forever.

You know, when I started playing this game, I assumed that they were going to be giving out new items for crafting all the time, for all the professions. LOL!
I guess that maybe I just didn't understand MORPGs, this being my first.
I'm no longer an architect, but I remember how excited I was the day that they gave us all of the new lights that actually worked, and candles!
I have to stop living in the past.
