Thread: Power requirements for harvester
How do I get power to a harvester I just made? I bought a power core but it wont let me deposit power! I am using a chemical harvester and I am going nuts!!!! And how many should I put in for an extended period?

Ok first off you Don't need power cores..those are componets... Either make a wind/soloar/fusion generator..place them on a good spot and wait to harvest some energy and/or in the mean time go buy some energy off the bazzar (wind energy/solar energy/radioactive energy [fusion]), bring up the radial dial and click depost power.
Also understand that PE rating on the energy you buy/harvest needs to be considered..the closer to 1,000 it is the more energy you will have....ie.. 1,000 energy with a PE of 1,000 is worth 2,000 energy when you go to deposit it.
Yup, power is an actual resource and not a component (That power core is a component)
Depending on the harvester you use, you may need upwards of 2400 (Less than 500 Potential Energy power) per day as well as the required maintenance.
Just some tips for ya..
1 - harvesters don't consume power unless they're turned on.
2 - maintenance is continuous as long as the sturcture is in the world and not a deed.
3 - Potential Energy is a stat of various resources, but only "energy" type resources can be used as power.
4- It costs less to harvest your own power from wind/solar/fusion generators than to buy from someone else.
5- the power generators do not use power to harvest the energy resources.
6- energy resources with a potential energy higher than 500 get a "bonus" for every point over 500, but ONLY when they're deposited into a structure.
7- energy may be purchased from the bazaar and is listed under resources and then the three sub categories of liquid energy, solid energy, and radioactive energy.
hope these help ![]()
