In keeping with the spirit of the real Wal Mart I am now employing people In my PA that have not actually purchased the SWG game and are logging in illegally.
ROFL.
I'm also surprised that wasn't you. But I have hopes for you yet, Dayln. I'm thinking maybe you should open a D-Mart store (K-Mart), or maybe a Darget store (Target), or something similar.
Now, if you're the businessman you claim you are and have all that good marketing and sales know-how that you claim you do, then I expect I will see a Dayln galaxy-wide namebrand sometime in the future.
You know what you gotta do, Dayln. You can't let someone beat you at your own game. Good luck and may the Force be with you. I will watch for the commercials....
Naaaa,
My plans are actually much more modest than that. I never did have the intention of becoming a huge business, just a small successful one in the face of some of the really bad advice usually given on these boards. My business skills are really not all that great, they only appear great when placed next to some ( not all ) people on this board that don’t seem to have the first clue as to how a business actually works.
Which I suppose is expected given the average age and real world experience of the players here.
The stuff I repeat here so often, never has to be said in the real world, it is like tellingpeople to breathe.
Dayln, I hope you hired them all as part-timers to avoid paying benefits, and that while the logs show that they only work 39 hours a week, you actually give them 50 hours worth of work to do and tell them they are fired if they can't get it done.
Boy do I hope they get nailed to the wall this time, and I say that even knowing that I own stock ![]()
Actually, I hope they get nailed too.
I use them as an example, but I dont like them, and I dont really follow thier business practices. They are just a good example to use sometimes.
ok, now on the side note....
My cousin works for the advertising agency that does all Walmarts ads.
He's actually the one that came up with the smiley face idea originally, so you can blame him if it gives you nightmares like it does me sometimes....hehe
