Especially with cities on the horizon, in order to try to plan placement, we need a Structure Placement Survey Tool. This would let us test placement for various structures without having to run around with a pack full of deeds and enough slots open.

Basicly, use the tool, select a structure to test placement for (possibly with an option to exclude existing structures so you can see if a large house will go where your medium sits) and start watching for green.

A tool that would allow you to place multiple structure at the same time would be nice too. How about a tool to level ground so little dips won't throw off an entire cities layout?? /sigh

I doubt we'd get a ground levelling tool, but I would like to see houses be a little more forgiving in terms of terrain. I'd like to build a town on some hills... if the Romans could do it why can't we?

I wish we could get more info during structure placement... instead of the whole footprint turning red, only the squares that block placement turning red... the spot I'm standing on at the time highlighted so I can keep my bearings, etc.

Anyone that played UO knows how useful a house placement surveying tool was. SWG would benefit from having such a device.

I think we need a ground leveling tool so that we can make flat areas to build cities.
