Thread: Idea for Dealing with Old, Pathetic Heavy Harvs
I'm not sure if this has been proposed already, sorry if it has, but I think that it would solve a lot of problems with pre-patch heavies being extremely undesirable by letting archies create replacement oremining units that can be stuck in with some kind of magical kit. That way, we can use the old harvesters but still need to make the component for a good one.
Wouldn't even necessarily need to stop at pre-patch, they could be used on all kinds of harvesters.
Just a thought ![]()
Just sell them cheap or give them away to nOObie guildies, you will make loads more cash on new harvesters anyway because they sell for more...
The new ones won't sell for more unless all the architects agree to sell them for more.
We need to make sure this happens. If we let the prices drop to the same as we were selling the old ones for, we're going to have to do 10 times the work for the same profits.
However, what I'd like to see perhaps even more than these "magical ore extraction replacement kits" is perhaps some "recycling" where you could "disassemble" a structure into some of it's components. That way, you could make a new one, or make something entirely different.
Fusions are pretty popular right now, too. Even if I can't make the fabled 21kg/m ones, the 16s do pretty well.
